The LORD’s Wisdom vs. the wisdom of mankind

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

I’m going to make a statement that is supremely offensive to many people in the world: The Wisdom of God is infinitely higher than the entire wisdom and knowledge of mankind, a wisdom and knowledge that men and women have been accumulating since the dawn of time. In other words, our Blessed LORD will always be infinitely more wise and intelligent than mankind ever will.

Does that idea offend you? If it does offend you, should it offend you? Do you feel justified if you believe that you are smarter or wiser than God Himself? If you in any way feel or believe that you are superior to God in any way, then you are aligned with the enemy of our souls, for he believes he is higher than God. In fact, the original temptation that the

enemy presented to Eve was, you can be like God if you do X, Y, and Z. And Adam and Eve fell for the lie, hook, line, and sinker. And the tragedy of all the sin, death, and destruction that has followed the Fall of Man has been supremely horrifying, not just for humanity but for God Himself.

The Book of Proverbs is famous for addressing foolish behavior. Time and time again, our LORD calls out fools in Proverbs. What exactly are fools, as described in Proverbs. They are the ones who think they think they are higher than God; they are the ones who refuse to follow God because they “know” better than to believe in a Deity who would be so

cruel as to not allow them with their vaunted “wisdom” into the Kingdom of Heaven. These fools have allied themselves with the enemy of our souls because they are his children.

The Bible has always stated that there would be two basic groups of people in the world. Those who would follow our LORD and those who follow the devil. There is no middle ground. I believe there is a third group of people in the world right now, those who have not made a decision to follow Christ, but who will follow Him eventually.

Recently, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart, and He told me that God wants everyone who is sitting on the fence, not having decided if they want God or the devil, to come over to God’s side. That means only the devil and his demons are going to Hell. This is not what some would call the idea of universal salvation because billions of the devil’s children

and the devil himself will end up in Hell.

The Bible is clear that if God does not choose you, then you will go to Hell. God sovereignly elects who goes to Heaven. If he has chosen you for Him, then at some point in your life, you will be saved by him, your heart sovereignly regenerated by our LORD.

If you die in your sins, and you never come to faith in Christ, which is the one, unpardonable sin, then you will go to Hell. You can check off as many religious boxes that you want, going to church, tithing, serving, reading the Bible, praying, but if God has not chosen you, you will not be saved.

And these are the fools that the Bible describes in many places, especially the Book of Proverbs. Fools cannot comprehend the Word of God because fools are demonic. Fools have demons residing within them; therefore, they are condemned already and nothing they do can save them because salvation is a sovereign work of our Precious LORD.

Fools have no wisdom; they are hopefully lost in their human, demonic wisdom, and they cannot comprehend the Word of God at all. In fact, I guarantee you that there are no fools reading this blog. If you are reading this blog, then you are either saved by God, or you will be saved one day. Take great comfort in that, my Friends.

If you are not walking with God currently, He is calling you to walk with him. As John 3:1-22 plainly states, you must know the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and you must be born again to be saved. Knowing the Gospel and being born again are two different things. I’ve stated many times that you can know the Gospel and not be saved. The demons and their father,

the devil, know the Truth of the Gospel, but they will never be saved. Their fate was sealed at Calvary, when our LORD Jesus paid the ultimate price and died there that you and I may be reconciled to our Heavenly Father.

If you are reading this blog, then you are probably already saved. If you are unsure if you’re saved, then you are not saved. Say the following prayer, asking our Blessed LORD to sovereignly redeem you:

Heavenly Father,

I come before You, and I admit that I am a sinner in need of salvation. I recognize my sin, and I repent of it. I recognize that You sent Your Holy Son Jesus Christ to live a perfect life on my behalf; to die as the Perfect Lamb of God on the Cross, thus reconciling me to you, Heavenly Father; then, on the third day, the Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead as the first fruits of the Resurrection. Jesus ascended to Heaven and sits at Your Right Hand, and He will return one day to rule alongside You, Blessed Father. Now that I understand and believe the Gospel, please regenerate my heart. I know that You, LORD are the one that sovereignly brings about salvation, so I am placing myself in your hands so you can do the work of salvation in my heart. Thank you, Heavenly Father. I pray andask all of this in the Blessed Name of my LORD Jesus. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, it was not some magical prayer. You most likely felt nothing. The Kingdom of God is not contingent on feelings. If you prayed this prayer, you asked a Sovereign God to regenerate your heart and to make you His child. If you were sincere, God listened to your prayer, and you are now a child of God, not because you did anything but because our LORD did everything for you. Amen and Amen.
